Power of the Blog

In my journalism ethics class, we've been talking a lot about blogs and bloggers this semester. Specifically, if bloggers are the new journalists and how they have prematurely ended the careers of individuals like Dan Rathers, Jeff Gannon, Eason Jordan, etc. In fact, we've been talking about bloggers so much that there was even an essay question on my midterm today about it! Go figure I had to skip it cuz I couldn't come up with a good answer... Humph.

One more thing...

The New York Times today as two articles on blogging. One on the trend of people in congress and DC blogging and another on vlogs and moblogs. It's a revolution!

It's how you tell the story, not what the story actually is. Don't you think that the title of your blog is a bit ironic compared to your last comment? :-P

Very true - in journalism, it's taught that a lot of the times, the angle of the story determines its fate.
