Here are a few of the pictures (that can face the light of day) from these past few weeks. Pictures include AIESEC Indiana's International Dinner, my birthday, Little 5, and a whole bunch of misc. ones.

By the way, I'm looking into getting a new digital camera. But I'm pretty clueless when it comes to which camera is a good investment. Anyone has any recommendations or advice? I am looking for a digital camera with both manual and automatic functions and fairly affordable. Advice, anyone?

Re cameras, personally I like Sony. Over the years, they seem to have gone from having just a really expensive selection to expanding more for all tastes. So what you have now are high end cameras, but also medium and low end cameras, all of which are pretty decent and will probably have most of the functions you need. Sony has got a solid name and their units are all very dependable - in my family of 5, everyone now has one and noone has had any problems. I picked mine up in HK 3 years ago, and it was working perfectly fine roadtripping through the US - I probably shot over 1000 pics over Easter weekend alone.
Two things I'd recommend you check out thoroughly before going through with a purchase are these: 1) check the battery life! My camera has a little thing that tells you how many minutes you have left on it. I'm supposed to be able to get 1 hour of battery life from it in photo-taking mode. What most people don't often think about is that this time dramatically shortens once you start using the flash. You could have used up your battery in 15 minutes if you're not careful. Sony lets you buy extra batteries which can be pricey but are well worth it. Having said that, it could also mean you need to carry a specialist charger with you - not a problem if you're planning on leaving it at home but if you're backpacking through SE Asia, you migh not want to carry it around. 2) You should also consider the size. It's no fun carrying a big camera around especially if you're (again) going to be travelling around SE Asia.
This turned out bigger than I thought...so I will finish now. Drop me a line if you want some time.
