Update from Beijing
Topic of the day: Rewinding
So it seems like I've been neglecting my little blog for a while! Since coming back from my Xinjiang trip, I originally planned to write a detailed entry for every main destination I traveled to. I got through half of them before life took over (the rest of the Xinjiang entries will come eventually…hopefully).
In the past few weeks, life in Beijing has been a whirlwind of activities. Nothing too grand - mostly a series of dinners, quiz nights, and most recently, watching the World Cup games. Among the more interesting things, there have been a few notable activities:
- Dalian weekend trip with the Beijing/Shanghai/Woop Woop crew
- Flickr Beijing meet event at Dashanzi (where the picture I have posted in this entry was taken)
- Caught up with Rachel after a year of absence!
With all that's been going on, I've barely had time to slow down and rewind!
Tomorrow, I'm off to Shanghai for the weekend – can't wait for some fresh(er) air, some golf, azul’s, and a “legendary” weekend!

Sheila - that photo is hot!
Flickr has events?!? Maybe I should try organizing a Flickr event in Toronto!
Who knew the day would come where we are having parties based on online photo sharing communities.
Yup, Flickr definitely have "meet" events! People have probably already organized ones for Toronto, so check them out!
Who knows, maybe someone will also take a really hot picture of you during the event! ;)
