On Being Thankful
Topic of the day: The things that we are thankful for
A British colleague of mine asked me a few days ago on the premise of Thanksgiving - why the holiday was started, what we are thankful for. After giving him a brief introduction, my colleague responds:
"We [Brits] should be thankful we kicked you guys out!"
Ahhh, British cynicism...
Alas, to all who's reading this entry right now - have a very happy Thanksgiving! I hope you eat lots, drink heaps, and make merry!!!

was thinking about you this morning for some reason. I think I had something unpleasant to eat last night. :P
anyway - just to let you know that if you had happened to tell me about this 'foreign women (not) finding men' problem earlier, I could have offered my services to care for the needy... Alas, all your friends were happily in love. :P
as ever Sheila, embellishing the truth...i think what I said was, "I'm glad we kicked out the raving lunatic/extremists from our green and pleasant land..."
